The campus environment should afford different kinds of learning opportunities in the whole learning landscape, making science and research visible in an interesting and seamless way, supporting co-creation of knowledge and overall learning experiences and social encounters between different embedded groups working and learning on the campus. Campuses can this way open themselves up in society, becoming blended institutions and learning landscapes where many open to all, promoting learning-centred communities and events-based matrices rather than specialised spaces. In campus management, the main goal is to create learning landscape to support students’ learning, This requires that educational leadership should be integrated in campus management.
